ArcelorMittal Hamilton Grassroots Soccer is a program designed to accommodate 500 children from the stadium precinct and surrounding areas.
This is an 8 week free summer program from June to August. It is fully subsidized through corporate and philanthropic funding.
With generous donations from title sponsors, ArcelorMittal Dofasco, Hamilton Athletic Trust Fund and Carstar and our dedicated
group of volunteers, we introduce the beautiful game of soccer to children near the stadium precinct.
The Grassroots Program not only focuses on soccer... it also develops and enhances physical literacy, social skills and self esteem.
This program is located in the new Tim Hortons Field, with a ratio of volunteers to children of 1 coach: 5 children.
OUR MISSION STATEMENT:
To introduce our youth to the sport of soccer, reinforce positive social skills and promote physical literacy within a structured and safe environment.
